The assassination of Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi seems to be fueled by the resentments of the Lawrence Bishnoi syndicate. Gogamedi was accused of abandoning protests against the encounter of gangster Anandpal Singh and allegedly misusing the funds collected in his name. The syndicate's grudge was further fueled by the proximity of Rohit Godara, Bishnoi's associate, to Anandpal's daughter.
